About the author

Carol Foster, born in 1944 was raised in Detroit.  She fell in love with Denny, a wonderful guy, and they raised a family, facing life’s challenges with humor and love.  They crashed a wedding so they could go dancing when funds were short, dreamed up “Goofy Day” to help the family get out of a rut, and frolicked in a huge pile of leaves to relieve the tedium of a fall cleanup.  As Carol reflected on those and other fond moments, she wrote her memoirs.  Once she discovered that her tales interested others, she decided to select the best of the stories for “Meet the Fosters”.
